Country Fora (CF) bring together a wide range of actors and stakeholders involved in or benefitting from rural advisory services in a country. They provide a mechanism for the diverse actors – including farmers – to exchange information, share lessons, identify opportunities for providing services to each other, and for innovating on how to provide effective advisory services in their domains of work. We envision that the country fora will evolve to provide leadership to the overall development of effective RAS in the country.
Country Fora are the building blocks of the regional networks as they assure information sharing about conditions and developments in a specific country to the regional and international level. At the same the country fora serve as an entry point for regional and international initiatives in improving rural advisory services and rural livelihood in general.
