Greetings from Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka, Currently, I am the Head of the Department and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Export Agriculture at Uva Wellassa University. Throughout my career, I have contributed to various academic and developmental activities in both the public and private sectors. These include delivering lectures and providing research project guidance, coordinating and participating in impact assessments, evaluations, and feasibility studies, and developing and implementing strategies for input supply and value chain processes to upscale the livelihoods of small and medium-scale holders while ensuring the sustainability of their agribusiness and promoting non-discrimination. Additionally, I am working as a founder and coordinator of the Uva Wellassa based “Integrated Community Development Model Village Project, aiming to foster a steadfast relationship between Uva Wellassa University and Uva Agricultural Community to generate mutual benefits in a sustainable manner with the integration of academia and undergraduates and also the capacity building of youth entrepreneurs harmonizing gender disparities in the project.
