Comment organiser la réunion annuelle du GFRAS ?

Outre les forums régionaux et sous-régionaux des SCR, le GFRAS invite tous les réseaux et organisations intéressés à poser leur candidature pour l’organisation de la réunion annuelle du GFRAS. Le comité de direction du GFRAS sélectionne l’hôte de la réunion en fonction des critères suivants (par ordre de pertinence) :

La volonté et la demande de l’hôte potentiel de la réunion annuelle du GFRAS
Les capacités de l’hôte potentiel en matière de ressources humaines et l’expérience sur le plan logistique, administratif et financier
Des opportunités stratégiques de promouvoir les SCR et le GFRAS par exemple en établissant un contact avec un nouveau segment d’associés, en renforçant les partenariats avec les réseaux régionaux et sous-régionaux des SCR
Une rotation de la réunion annuelle du GFRAS entre régions et pays en vue de permettre une participation mondiale
Le rôle que joue l’hôte potentiel dans les SCR, les systèmes d’innovation agricole et le développement rural
Les aspects liés à la sécurité des participants et la stabilité politique du pays hôte
Une rotation de la réunion annuelle du GFRAS entre secteurs (public, privé et de la société civile) et acteurs liés aux SCR (production, recherche, éducation et autres)
La possibilité pour le GFRAS de développer des synergies avec d’autres événements liés aux services de conseil rural (SCR)
Le coût et les considérations logistiques

L’hôte n’a pas besoin de remplir tous les critères énumérés.

How do I stay in contact with GFRAS?

There are two ways:

a) You can subscribe to the GFRAS Update. This electronic newsletter will inform you 4-5 times a year about the latest news in the field of rural advisory services.

b) You can sign up on this website and get access to all its interactive features. Registered affiliates get the GFRAS Update and special additional mailings informing them about new content and features on www.g-fras.org.

How do I sign up on www.g-fras.org?

You click the sign up link and fill out the form. All fields with an asterisk are mandatory. Once you have registered you can give more details about yourself and your expertise in your user profile. After submitting the form you will receive a confirmation email from GFRAS that contains a link. Please click on this link to activate your account.

 I cannot read the security code.

Please refresh your screen and try again. Check if you have entered the full URL: www.g-fras.org (only g-fras.org may cause problems). What is a security code?

The letters that appear in the image on the sign up form are a security code (also known as CAPTCHA) that helps us ensure only real people (and not annoying automated spammers) sign up and create accounts. Because computers are unable to read the security code, a user entering a correct code must be a real person.

I did not receive a confirmation email.

How do I access my user profile?

After login the user menu becomes visible. It's the yellow menu situated on the very top of the window. The second navigation point says "Your account". Clicking it you can either view or edit your profile.

I can’t remember my username and/or password.

Click on the login button in the top right corner without filling out the fields for username and password. You will be presented with an error page that contains a more detailed login form. At the bottom there's a link for retrieving your username and/or password.

I cannot login. After clicking the login button nothing happens.

Make sure that you have entereded the complete address of the website. www.g-fras.org. If you type only g-fras.org the login will not work properly.
