Western and Central Africa Regional RAS Network launched

From 18 - 20 February 2015 a workshop for the formalization of the West and Central Africa Network of Agricultural and Rural Advisory Services (RESCAR-AOC) was held in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. It was attended by 54 participants working on extension and advisory services coming from western and central Africa countries, development partners, regional networks, Country Fora, ANADER, CORAF, AFAAS, and GFRAS. The overall objective of the workshop is to provide the West and Central Africa Network of Agricultural and Rural Advisory Services with relevant institutional and operational tools to support the transformation of the agricultural and rural sector in western and central Africa.
