Registrations are now open for the 11th GFRAS Annual Meeting, the 59th IALB and 9th EUFRAS conference, whose topic is "Preparing Advisers for the Digital Era" will in response to the COVID-19-pandemic take place as an online conference. The main conference will take place on 5th and 6th October 2020. Regional workshops and a networking session for the regional RAS networks are taking place on October 7th and 8th.
Smart Farming (SF) is viewed as "the future of agriculture" and digitisation has
the potential to transform the way farms are managed and operated worldwide. As agriculture becomes more digitized, farmers will be increasingly making decisions based on real-time feedback from data on the farm.
The Annual Meeting is co-organized by the Latvian Rural Advisory and Training Centre (LRATC), the European Forum for Agricultural and Rural Advisory Services (EUFRAS), the Internationale Akademie für ländliche Beratung (IALB), and the South-Eastern Europe Advisory Service Network (SEASN).
