Make a Blog Entry

Here are some explanations that might be helpful:

• The yellow bar at the top allows you to view and manage your blog entries
• The buttons under the yellow bar are used to save and/or publish your blog entry
• Choose a category and select the viewing permissions
• Enter a title for your blog entry
• Enter your text in the main entry field. There are a number of buttons that help you to format and structure your text:
•  Insert/Edit File: Use this button to upload a file and link to it from your text.
•  Insert/Edit Image: Use this button to upload and insert an image in your text
•  Insert/Edit Media: Use this button to upload and insert a video or an audio file in your text.
• Note that all your uploads go into a special folder that is only accessible to you.
• Put some tag (keywords) to your blog entry so it can be found more easily.
• Select some more publishing options.
• Fill out the meta keywords and meta description so your blog entry will be found by internet search engines.

Don't forget to frequently save your blog entry. You might want to write it in a word processing programme and then copy-paste it into the entry field. Use the "Remove format" and "Cleanup HTML" buttons if your text looks messy.
