Mission: EDZ_x0019_ s mission is to improve the quality of life and livelihood of the Zambian rural communities by promoting initiatives, income generating activities, technologies and ideas on the sustainable exploitation and management of natural resources to achieve economic development, food security and meet global challenges.
Objectives: EDZ was formed to: a) Provide training in agricultural, Environmental and Natural Resource Management focusing on rural community based groups and organizations as a way of creating sustainable income generating activities.

b) Provide training and create awareness in Reproductive Health, Nutrition and HIV/AIDS prevention initiatives for the identified communities particularly rural based. c) Provide information and awareness on gender related issues with particular emphasis on women and the youths.
