Resolutions of the 2nd Annual GFRAS Meeting 2011
At the Second GFRAS Annual Meeting held in Nairobi, Kenya, on November 13 - 14, the participants elaborated resolutions to the International Conference on Innovations in Extension and Advisory Services that took place immediately after the GFRAS Meeting. The resolution was presented during the final plenary session by Dr. Silim M. Nahdy, Chair of the GFRAS Steering Committee.
Rural Advisory Services Worldwide
During the International Conference on Innovations in Extension and Advisory Services GFRAS launched its newest publication «Rural Advisory Services Worldwide». The report is an overview of RAS stakeholders and network on a worldwide level and sketches challenges and opportunities in the field of RAS.

Leadership of the implementation of this Pillar is mandated to the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA). In this context AFAAS operates under the umbrella of FARA but has its own autonomy and governance structure.
