GFRAS affiliates and members are invited to hold side events on 22 and 26 September 2014. Organisers can decide to use side events for preparing a joint position for the 5th GFRAS Annual Meeting, planning follow up activities, initiating partnerships, or discussing issues of interest. Side event organisers can also submit a proposal for presenting side event results in the main Annual Meeting sessions (see section 1, 2, and 3 in the call and guidlines for inputs). Organisers of side events will be responsible for their own content, equipment, and finance, but benefit from synergies with the 5th GFRAS Annual Meeting. GFRAS has pre-booked rooms and conference packages, which will be paid by the organisers (approx. 2,500 USD/50 participants/half day) to the GFRAS secretariat. How to proceed
